Does permanent makeup hurt?
Your comfort is our priority. We apply a highly effective topical anesthetic cream before the procedure begins and a secondary numbing agent throughout to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or vibration, not pain.
What is the downtime?
There is no social downtime required, but there is a healing period of about 7 to 14 days. During this time, the treated area will appear darker and will experience some light flaking. We provide detailed aftercare instructions, which include keeping the area dry and avoiding makeup application directly on the treated site until it is fully healed.
When will I see the final results?
You will see the shape immediately, but the color will appear bold at first. The true, softened color will emerge after the initial healing phase is complete, typically within 4 to 6 weeks. A follow-up “perfecting” session is almost always necessary to finalize the color and shape.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Permanent makeup is considered “semi-permanent.” It is designed to fade gracefully over time. Results typically last 1 to 3 years, depending on the technique used, your skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. We recommend periodic color boost appointments to maintain your fresh, defined look.
